What's happening???

I just spent the last 10 minutes trying to get into my account.  I forgot my password.  So anyway, some exciting things have been happening with Conquest Jewelry lately.  My logo is complete thanks to Sandra Sharpe of sm9designs and is ready for use.  I just need to start the process of getting it trademarked through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO).   The dress for my mannequin is complete thanks to Ally Lorenz, so now I have a beautiful display piece for my jewelry.  And the piece de resistance, I just purchased my jump ring maker.  I have waited about three months to purchase this item.  This little beauty is going to enable me to finish pieces with linked chain and will add uniqueness to earrings, bracelets, and necklaces.  It's in route right now and will arrive at my doorstep tomorrow.  Yeah baby!!!!!  The next item on the list is a bracelet mandrel and jewelers bench.  The bracelet mandrel will cost about $60.00 - $100.00 and the jeweler's bench will cost about $300.00 - $600.00, unless I find one at a yard sale.  Things are on the up and up and I could not be more excited.  Until next time, deuces.

The Latest

Gosh!!! So much has been going on with Conquest Jewelry. I am so serious about this business. Things are coming together really well. Praise God!!! I have been purchasing a lot of materials and supplies, and taking a lot of classes at the Potomac Bead Company. I have been making PBC so rich. The classes have been great thus far. Alison rocks!!! I am in search of a jeweler's bench or a really good workbench. These benches are super expensive. A jeweler’s bench can cost a minimum of $350.00. I don't have that kind of cash right now. I saw a nice work table on Amazon today. Work space is important because I need a good space where I can get comfortable and create. I feel so uninspired right now because of a lack of workspace. I would like to use the high-top table I am currently using as a dining table. I could move Nicholas back to his little table, but I'm going to hold off on that idea for now. I still need my supplies to be in an area away from Master Nicholas. He's still in his curious phase. Moving on, I hired a graphic designer to create a logo for Conquest Jewelry. I tried to set up a business checking account, but I need to establish Articles of Organization for my LLC. There is still so much work to be done. Establishing the Articles of Organization is a simple process, but that costs money. I am also still trying to relocate to Raleigh, NC, so I don't want to pay to register my business in MD and then have to do it again in NC. That would be a huge waste of money. Money that I just don’t have right now.

I am registered with Joy of Beading for a free class on a lariat necklace. Since supplies are said to cost $20.00, I thought that was a major deal. I usually pay $18 - $25 at PBC for classes and also have to buy materials. Well see how things go.
